EVEREST POWER PRIVATE LIMITED The Malana Stage II Hydroelectric Project is a 2x50 MW run of the river project on Malana Nallah a tributary of Parbati river. The Project is being executed by Everest Power Private Ltd (EPPL) in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The Project is designed to generate 428 Million kWh annually in a 90% dependable year. There is a potential upside to further generate Secondary and Excess generation of ~ 32.49 Million kWh per annum, and the project is expected to operate at an overall load factor of 49%. Partnering in the 100 MW hydroelectric project are Athena Infraprojects Pvt Ltd and Larsen & Tourbo. The Project is under advanced stage of construction and is scheduled for commissioning in 2010.
